On June 24, 2017, Apostle Theresa Harvard Johnson, the progenitor of The Scribal Anointing®, came to the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region on assignment. The transformational deposit God used her to release reminded me of this region’s significance, illuminated why scribes in the area must be activated; and provoked Andrea to take her place as a commander of the city. 

Washington, DC is the heart of America, the nucleus for national governance, and the helm of worldwide influence. As Andrea thought on these realities, she began to understand better that a key to transforming our nation is to awaken sleeping scribes (sleeping giants) and help them personally embrace transformation. From this stable place, they are equipped to intentionally reproduce transformation in their families, communities, regions and ultimately impact the nation and the world. Although Andrea didn’t have details or a well laid out plan, she knew I had to do something. 

After a time of reflection and picturing what transformation looked like, Deuteronomy 1:6-8 came to her:

“When we were at Mount Sinai, the Lord our God said to us, ‘You have stayed at this mountain long enough. It is time to BREAK CAMP and move on. GO TO the hill country of the Amorites and to all the neighboring regions—the Jordan Valley, the hill country, the western foothills, the Negev, and the coastal plain. Go to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, and all the way to the great Euphrates River. Look, I am giving all this land to you! GO IN and OCCUPY it, for it is the land the Lord swore to give to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and to all their descendants.’” (emphasis added)
Deuteronomy 1:6-8 NLT

      1.  Break Camp:  Leave where you are. Hold fast to what is divinely beneficial to your life and relinquish the people and things that no longer serve 
           God’s purpose for your life.

      2.  Go to:  Intentionally proceed in the direction of God’s promises. (OBEDIENCE)  

      3.  Go in:  Don’t just settle for salvation or what you know and have accomplished thus far.  Move forward into a greater understanding of Christ, 
           yourself, and purpose (the reason God created and sent you into the earth).  

      4.  Occupy:  MASTER your measure.  Become skilled in the areas God has called you to.  Ensure every place you go and every person you touch is 
           filled with or experiences the customized/unique expression of Christ entrusted to you.

On July 15, 2017, as a response to God’s call and without pomp and circumstance, Andrea launched DMV Scribes Mobilize with a Facebook group page and a small in-person strategy session. "DMV" has since been dropped from our name. We realized it was a limit being the description of the inaugural region but not an indication of our ordained reach.  We've expanded and are now represented in three additional states, New York, Texas, and Florida. We have and will continue to GROW and MOBILIZE!
